Consultancy

Why consultancy?

Businesses and organisations today operate within complex social and environmental systems - and the choices they make ripple far beyond their balance sheets. Our consultancy mahi helps teams see these systems clearly, and make decisions that honour intergenerational fairness, social equity, and environmental accountability.

We use a systems-thinking approach to help organisations understand how their choices ripple outward. This includes exploring business structures, culture, leadership, and impact through guides such as the Inner Development Goals and Wellbeing Economy principles.

Our lead team member Jo, supports clients to understand their social impact, strengthen their purpose, and make decisions that benefit both people and planet.

By engaging with Sustainability Options, our clients are also contributing directly to community outcomes. All our consultancy profits fund our charitable projects, including the 20 Degrees program in the Bay of Plenty.

Our point of difference: We don’t deliver cookie‑cutter workshops. We create inquiry, connection, and momentum - helping organisations make meaningful shifts in organisational outcomes through facilitated conversations and purpose-driven guides. By engaging in Sustainability Options’ consultancy mahi, clients are also supporting sustainable living within the Bay of Plenty – helping families live in warmer, drier, healthier, and more energy efficient homes.
